BBA Degree Requirements

The BBA program has developed a core of courses to ensure students will have the knowledge and analytical tools necessary to excel in their business careers. These compulsory subjects include management, marketing, accounting, information systems, behavioral sciences, economics, and quantitative approaches to decision-making. All students must pass these compulsory courses before selecting a major.

In addition to the required curriculum, BBA candidates choose a major which consists of eight electives within their chosen field, and the foreign language of their choice, which allows them to specialize and expand their knowledge.

In order to obtain the BBA degree, students must:

• Earn a total of 108 academic credits and 6 non-academic credits for a total of 114 credits.
• Obtain a grade of C or higher for all General Education, Core, Major, and Elective courses.

Optional Student Thesis

Students may choose to write a thesis on a subject they decide with faculty. They must defend their written thesis in front of a jury.

Optional Student Internships

Students may choose to do an internship with a local company in place of an elective. The BBA Program provides internship support services, but all internships must first be approved by the Dean before starting. Upon completion of the internship, the intern must write a report to be defended orally before a jury to receive academic credit.
