Paris School of Business Student Association: First Poker Game of the Year!
Walking into room 16 at Paris School of Business, the head of the Paris School of Business Poker Association, Omar Bensaid, welcomes the new students while skillfully counting out the chips to distribute for the first poker game of the year.
What some might consider a man’s sport was not the case at this table. Quietly taking a seat Miss Victoria Nguyen Cong Duc was one of the amateurs at the table. With an eagerness to master the game, the students cut the deck and began testing themselves and others at this new sport. What seemed like beginners luck, Victoria led the game with her uncertain attitude confusing other players at the table. After only two hours the thrill of a bet overtook the table, bringing four players into an “all-in” hand. Proving his passion for poker, it was fitting that the first game of the year was ultimately won by Omar Bensaid, with 2nd place going to Zuka Gogicchaishvili. Games will continue to be held on the Paris School of Business campus and new students are always welcome.
